The Royal Botanic Gardens are located near the Sydney Opera House and provide visitors with an amazing view of Sydney Harbour. The views are truly spectacular on a clear evening viewing the city lights.
The Palm House was built in 1876 and is the oldest glasshouse in New South Wales. It is also a favourite among wedding couples.
The gardens offer an opportunity to relax and enjoy lunch in the shade while coming close to a variety of native animals to complement the fauna. Fruit bats can often be around the lake hanging upside down in the trees.
